Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.

I use Canon gear.
There are, obviously, things I want to get to enhance my bag. I definitely need a 50mm lens for the big camera. I would also like a great macro lens. To be honest I’m still figuring out what I really need. Less is always better, in most things, if you ask me. I try for an economy of equipment. Meaning I want interchangeable lenses as much as possible and my stuff to be as portable as possible.
There it is… the stuff. Not tons of it, but I don’t think you need loads. Really what’s necessary to get that perfect shot is a love of form and light, joy in doing the work, and a perspective that’s yours and yours alone.
Can you tell I love what I do?
People usually want to see the detail of the dress, so here it is. Like I said… the dress was lovely. It was made by a Portland designer. Her shop in on 23rd and we all would recommend her highly. It was the perfect dress for Mary. She looked beautiful in it.
These little dudes were both torment and entertainment for the pups during the camping trip. Two encampments, two to three feet from each other. One chipmunk would pop it’s head out, scouting, he’d waive his little claw or paw or whatever you call it and then yell… run! There’d then be this rush of feet and fur scampering from one encampment to the other. Back and forth this went on. Day after day. They’re in the fox hole in this shot, getting ready for their next move.
