The pups love camping. Weston is on his lead here, but he got to be off of it. They both did. They were worn out by the time we got home. Two hikes in one day just about did the little souls in. They made it though, and actually wanted to go to bed that night. Pretty funny.

Botanical Beach

As we wandered along the trail of Juan de Fuca we eventually made it to the Botanical Beach. This place was amazing. There were huge pools sunken in the rock. Some several feet deep and loads of wild life living in these pools. Pretty spectacular and like nothing I’d ever seen.

Here are the boys, excited to be moving along the trail. Pretty terrific, both of them, making it the whole way without even one complaint.

These are the guys that are everywhere in the lake district and really, all around northern England. They are different looking sheep than we’ve seen in the U.S.

Pretty typical of what the countryside looks like in the lake district. Not many trees, lots of ferns, rocky tops and outcroppings. It’s very different, but lovely.

We took this from Glenridding to Howtown then walked back along the lake. The name of this vessel… Lady Of The Lake. Cool eh?
