The Golden Lady

The Golden Lady Originally uploaded by Tokenhippygirl As Vicki and Sandy finished the marathon (Sandy went along with Vicki the last half of her 13 mile walk), Karen and I wandered along the water from the Golden Gate to the wharf. A long walk, but worth it. Lovely day. Beautiful, gorgeous, and we were there.

Getting Vertigo, originally uploaded by Tokenhippygirl. I always have to take a few odd shots. This, looking up the support on the Freemont, is one of those. Kind of makes you feel a bit dizzy looking at it.

Below the Burnside

Below the Burnside, originally uploaded by Tokenhippygirl. You get some really good views of the city, the river, and the bridges by strolling the eastbank esplanade. I highly recommend it. Or, if you don’t feel like strolling, bike it. Really good for either.

Marquam

Marquam, originally uploaded by Tokenhippygirl. We went for a walk yesterday along the Eastbank Esplanade. The weather was perfect, the company sublime, and the sights absolutely gorgeous. But then… I love this city.
