Every day I am thankful for you. I couldn’t agree more with the lyrics of this song. I am blessed and lucky to have… This kind of love….

I like this one…
Grandpa… This one reminds me so much of you. I love you.
Totally hooked on this song right now.
This is totally amazing and inspiring. Watch and be totally stunned by the skill of this guy. Wow.
Possibly the worst video I’ve ever seen. I mean, what’s up with the creepy strange guy who keeps popping up in the background. It’s so bad it’s sort of compelling. I’m disturbed by it, yet somehow I’ve watched it a couple of times. This isn’t exactly the Blue Swede version I love. How can I ever listen to this song again without thinking of The Hoff. No, put it out of my mind… let it go. Maybe if I face my fear, and post it here, I will be cured of the scourge that is this video. It’s worth a try…
This might be coming from out in left field… or maybe I should say from the outfield… bah ha ha ha!! So corny. Anyway… I had my iPod rolling today at the office and this tune came on. Love it. Very toe tapping. Check it out and let’s all flash back! Woo Hoo! I see all those head nods happening in front of your screens.

Liz, fellow angle and rock star human being, shared this with a few of us today at the office. This is one of the coolest, most inspiring, videos I’ve seen. Ever. If this doesn’t make you feel good about being alive, living on this planet, and getting to share the human experience every day, I don’t know what will. Take a listen and then head to the Playing For Change website to check out other videos and support this fantastic movement/cause.
Mom… I agree with you. No matter what our politics, kids need to have a higher profile where our government spending is concerned. I see the aftermath when the cuts happen. What do we want… educated children, or a much higher drop out rate. People may say there’s no correlation, but trust me, there is.
I absolutely love this band. We were lucky enough to see them when they were in Portland. If you get a chance to see them, do. I’m telling you, you will not be disappointed.
I was looking around, and will continue to I’m sure, for ideas and such on how to go about performing a marriage ceremony. I came across this little bit from a film called “Little Murders”. Some of it is slightly… uh… shall we say colorful… so if you’re not into that, feel free to skip it. If you’re not going to be offended and know it, check this out. I’m really considering this approach to officiating…. bwah ha ha ha ha ha! Oh, and it’s kinda long, so if you want to fast forward a little, go to about the three or three and a half minute mark.
I happen to love the movie The Princess Bride. It’s up there in my top five I’d say. And it is to this favored movie of mine that I now turn for ideas about how to go about performing a proper marriage ceremony. Mary? Martin? What say you to this as an idea for how we should proceed….
