Yesterday we took Weston to a dog park in Hillsboro. The Hondo Dog Park. He loves it there. They have a small/timid dog area which works as he’s small and kind of timid. He made friends with several little pugs, running all around with them. It was great fun for him.

Our next stop on Saturday was Stanley Park. It’s the third largest park in North America and it’s beautiful. Many places to walk, loads of artists set up and drawing/painting and selling their art, a great aquarium, and fantastic views. We stopped here first. Karen and I took a walk with Weston while Mary and Martin went into the aquarium to have a look around. I loved this shot. Reflection on the water, city on one side, forest on the other. To me this photo is very much about what Vancouver has to offer.

I posted a similar one to this over at my photo blog, image – ination. Check it out. This was, again, taken at Cathedral Park earlier today.

This was taken at Cathedral Park as well and is used to hold a couple of logs together that are used as a break near a dock to keep stuff from building up against the dock and breaking it free. I just liked the look of it.

We love this park and always seem to find ourselves here when we go to take Weston for a walk. The light yesterday was spectacular. I love this time of year.

Someone had a bottle at Cathedral Park. Fish Eye anyone?

We went to Cathedral Park yesterday for Weston. You know, give the little guy a long walk in a nice place. He sometimes gets to meet new people, which he did yesterday, and to play with other dogs, which he also did yesterday. It rained a little, but nothing true Oregonians such as ourselves can’t deal with. It was actually a nice day and a lovely walk.

We’ve had a mellow day two in Vegas. We got up at the late morning hour of 6 am as Amanda decided she wanted to take Weston out for his morning constitution and six seemed like the right time for her. Of course, we were sleeping and so was Weston, but no matter. Up we got… I feel rested. Oh yeah, I do…. uh huh… sure… really rested.
Later this morning we… Karen, Weston, Amanda and I, all walked to the nearest Starbucks for chai teas and a nice hot chocolate. Then, after getting back to the house, we all took a drive to a nearby park where all of these pictures were taken. It’s been a very relaxing and lovely day.
