These are photos I used on my blog between 2005 and 2007. I blogged with Blogger for that time… until I switched to WordPress, where I’ve stayed. I was just perusing these and enjoying them. Thought I’d share. Some of these were before I had the Canon Rebel even. We were using point and shoot little digital cameras then. Plus there are photos of Weston when we first got him… what a cutie. Enjoy….

Home Sweet Home

Today we are hanging out at home. It’s nice… watching movies (currently Men in Black), staying cool, etc. Karen went to get plants for some of our flower pots earlier today (after watering the flower beds and finding the rubber boa) and Kev went to get stain applicators (they are going to stain the front deck later today). Now Karen is talking to Mary and Martin via Skype (I went in to say hello for a few minutes… it’s hot in the office so I didn’t stay too long, though it was great to see them… and great to see the pregnant belly where Jackson is hanging out). Not much going on here today… just really nice enjoying being home. Appreciating it. Loving it.

Mary and Martin decided on not having too many flowers at the wedding, but the flowers they had… bouquets, boutonnieres, and the two large floral arrangements up near the “alter” were stunningly beautiful. Simple and lovely.

There was a lovely dahlia garden next to the conservatory. Karen and I took a ton of shots there. Amazing color. Really beautiful.

I did what I do and ran around taking pictures of our yard a couple of nights ago. It was almost too late in the day, light fading and all, but some of them actually turned out OK. Love these flowers. Not even sure what they are, but we have a little patch of them and they are lovely.
