The strange picture taking continues. This one done with my phone camera as I was driving home. The white dot in the center is the crescent moon… not exactly clear in this shot and yet, I like it.

Also love this one, which was taken with the phone camera as well. I need to remember to bring the actual camera with me, though this didn’t turn out so bad. It has a great fall Northwest feel. It wasn’t taken this year, it was actually taken two years ago.

I was driving home tonight just holding the camera up and shooting without looking through the eye piece. This actually didn’t turn out that bad for the ol’ point and shoot method. I like it.

Yesterday, October 27, 2007, we drove to Salem to take mom her annual treat of brownies and mocha almond fudge ice cream. I’ve done this every year for 9 years. It’s the yearly anniversary celebration of the date mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Why that date you ask? Because that’s the day life changed, and I like to help mom celebrate that here we are, 9 years later, and she’s OK… life is good. I love you mom.
