What is the significance of Earl, The Ugly Doll. He looked kind of cute, but I couldn’t really see very much of him.
Thanks for showing us around your new spa area. It is really grand.

I’ve been talking for a long time, probably a couple of years or more, about getting some sort of stuffed thing to take around with us when we travel or do anything really. Something I could carry easily and put in photos once in awhile. You know… like this. I never found the right thing until a couple of months ago when, at a toy store in the Pearl, I found him. At the time he didn’t have a name. In fact, he didn’t have a name until after I did the photo shoot. When I brought him out and said I had to take a couple more shots and then the interior designer helped me pose him she asked what his name was. He, sadly, didn’t have one other than what his tag said, which I didn’t really like. I got home after the shoot, told Karen I’d been told he needed a name, and the naming process was on. I wanted something slightly old man-ish. Some older name. I didn’t like Bob… too over used. Suddenly Karen said… how about Earl. We both rolled laughing… not sure why, but we did. And Earl he became. Earl has two sides… his light bright white side and his dark brooding side. I like both.
