Other than a really nice night at Stan and Connie’s place last week, we spent some nights heading to home depot for supplies, or others out getting groceries and clam tags (I’ll get to that in a moment). The supplies from Home Depot and Lowe’s, and multiple trips to the local sand and gravel place were so we could do… this. For nearly 6 years we’ve said… man, we have to do something with that back area. We had the walkway, the deck, the original wall, and the hot tub. But we also had a huge area that was just gravel, and very unfinished looking. This is our solution. Low maintenance. Stepping stones, montana rainbow rock, potted honeysuckle and clematis, and some extra height to the wall so the pups can’t get over it. Oh, and a new, we can actually lift it because it’s not saturated with water which means we can actually get in and enjoy our hot tub, hot tub cover. Whew… that was a sentence wasn’t it?

Great job. I love what you did with that area. You need to get a cover lifter for your hot tub. It’s great even when the cover is saturated with water. Next time you’re over, you can look at ours. I love it.
