The theme for the week is sad. I was looking through some recent shots and found this one. This flower looked sad to me. Or maybe it’s just that summer was ending and that was sad. I’ve recovered now and am fully into autumn so it’s all good. Like this shot though.
My apologies for not playing the last several weeks. Summer will do that to a person. Seems we were busy busy busy. Especially since getting our new little girl. Scroll down for some candid shots of her. She’s beautiful.

Great shot. There is a melancholy beauty about flowers in decline. Nice take on this wek’s theme
Great take on the theme. What makes me happy about shots like that is thinking of all those seeds in the dying flower that will feed the birds as well as set for new spring flowers. I can see how it’s sad too seeing the end of the flower.
