Droplets, originally uploaded by Tokenhippygirl.
The theme for this week’s hunt is hanging. I looked through my stuff and found this one taken in January of this year, right after a good rainstorm. As you might have heard, we’re very familiar with rain here in Oregon. It’s part of what makes it so beautiful here and also why, after a long winter of rain, we appreciate our summer so much. I love taking photographs after it rains, hence this shot, as everything always looks so fresh. There’s something about water, drops, the rain… it’s life, new, and can be incredibly, and simply, beautiful. Like these drops hanging off the bare maple tree.

Awesome focus on the hanging drops! I bet it smells good after the rain as well. Happy hunting!
gorgeous, gorgeous shot. I love water droplets. I love the reflections you can capture in them.
mine’s up on dog-eared this week
That’s a beautiful shot. I also love taking photographs after it rains. You got a great one of the droplets hanging on.
What a wonderful photo, the best one I have seen for today. Looks like a Japanese cutleaf maple so the bark is interesting as well as the dried leaves. All speculation of course! Have a good weekend.
There is nothing more refreshing then droplets of rain or morning dew. Beautiful shot!
That is such a beautiful shot! I like to photos after it rains too. Great take on the theme!
