The Upper Bunk, originally uploaded by Tokenhippygirl.
The theme for this week’s photo hunt is self. I took this one November of last year. We got a little sleeper car for our train trip down to San Jose and as you can see, I ended up in the top bunk. It was small. Really small. The straps on the right side of the picture are to hold you in… you know, in case a person is a big night mover. They don’t want you falling out of your bunk, and let me tell ya, I didn’t want to fall out, so I used the straps. It was a bit claustrophobic, but it worked. Even so, next time I’m sleeping on the bottom bunk.

That’s a tight space! Fun take on today’s theme ~ this was an eXtra fun photohunt.
Oh dear, I don’t think I could sleep there because I am claustrophobic too. Definitely the bottom bunk for me too. Still it gave you this photo for the theme.
ooh too claustrophobic for me! great take on the theme though!
view mine if you wish here thanks
Great shot but I’m with you regarding the space. Too claustrophobic for me too!
Wow, there’s no room to turn over in there, even without the straps! Not much good if you have a … erm … mature figure!
I think I’d be very claustrophobic in there!
Cool shot but I’m with you about it being a very small space.
Good photo! Reminds me of when I went from Salt Lake City to Denver on the RBBBC train. My daughters ‘room’ was this size and we both slept in the top tiny bed! This was years ago, but the memories are fresh
Whew…looks like a tight squeeze.
Nice creative take on the theme! Cheers
good heavens! I’m totally too claustrophobic, wouldn’t have been able to breathe let alone sleep. Great shot Tam
That is a tight squeeze. hope the movement of the train at least helped you sleep.
Does everyone really know how to spell claustrophobic or are they just coping everyone elses comments hoping that it is spelled right? That pic is great, but I would love to see a pic of the Phillies holding the world series trophy in 2008.
Hey Tam
At first glance and before I read the caption I kind of thought it was the interior of one of those MRI machines. Kind of creepy. Good shot!!!!
