Photo Hunt – Different

Casa Batllo, originally uploaded by Tokenhippygirl.

The theme for the photo hunt this week is different. I looked through my recent archives and ran across some pictures I took in Barcelona, Spain of the Gaudi buildings. Nothing says different and unique in architecture like a Gaudi building. Strange, beautiful and amazing stuff. I’d never seen anything like them.

This is Casa Batlló.  You can find out more by clicking on the official site link here and/or by going to the wikipedia link here.  Check out these sites, it’s pretty interesting stuff.

If you want to join in the photo hunt follow the link here to get all the info and then start taking some pictures!

just one look at the pic made my heart beat a tad faster. :) thank you for taking me back in time, 1998, which was when i saw this building. i just love gaudi! when i was studying architecture in college, i thought he was a little weird. hee hee. but when i got to see his works in person, i thought he was just plain genius! did you get to see the “sagrada familia” as well?! now that’s “different” too! :) look at me, i’m babbling. so sorry. architecture just gets me all fired up. hahaha!

have a great weekend! if you have time, do take a peek at my entries as well. no pressure though!
