Photo Hunt – Free

Today’s photo hunt theme is free and what signifies free more than letting freedom ring. Today we hung out in Philadelphia and went to see the Liberty Bell. Pretty fantastic. I always sort of find myself getting emotional about history. Corny… maybe, but I do none the less. It’s amazing to me to be in the presence of such a symbol of the basic principles of freedom and all it represents. We take our freedom for granted I think sometimes and we shouldn’t. It’s nice to be reminded of what we have, and what the cost was to get it.

that’s a great shot. I get all wigged about history too. It just pulls at me sometimes.

You’re so very right. Sadly, we don’t realize what we have and I certainly hope, with all of my heart, that we learn to appreciate all of our freedoms before they’re taken away. Sometimes you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.

Oh, I missed it last week and it is so wonderful. I used the same concept of free but my photos are totally different. Yours is not only perfect for the theme but the photo is so perfectly arranged.
