Sweet Tea, originally uploaded by Tokenhippygirl.

What do you drink to wash the barbecue down? Why sweet tea of course. It was outstanding actually. A real thirst quencher in this nice and warm 60ish weather.

After all the food and tea we didn’t have the room for desert, so we bought it and brought it with us back to the room. Now, some hours later, it’s time to have some pecan pie and peach cobbler.

What do you eat when you get to Atlanta Georgia… barbecue of course. This place was recommended by a guy here at the hotel, plus it was close by. The recommendation and the proximity were both good.

We took off early this morning for places east… Atlanta, Georgia to be exact. Our flight was early. Why is it when you know you have to get up really early, in our case 3:45, you can’t sleep. Any other regular night, no problem. Ah well… we did indeed get up and made it to our plane in time, which took off in time. Excellent.

We have this traveling thing down to a science. Bags ready and by the door, head to PDX, park, ride the shuttle to the terminal, check our bags but not ourselves in as we already did it at home, go through security no liquids no metal, find the closest place to get a chai, board, break out the Bose headphones and laptop or ipod, grab the water we brought along, get out the bagel we purchased before leaving, pack up our stuff right before landing, get the bags, find the rental car place, get the car, drive to the hotel, throw the bags in the room, and then hunt for food. Like clockwork.
