We had a really nice Christmas eve, with a dinner, thanks Sean and Hayden for doing up such a fantastic meal, and then a quiet evening spent opening gifts and hanging out with Mom and Don. Christmas day was quiet, and lovely. Mom and Don left early to get over to his daughter’s place for present opening with the small grandchildren, and we hung out here, with Khris, and enjoyed our own present opening, movie watching, picture viewing, pajama wearing, and snacking kind of day. It was very mellow, and very nice. Thanks Khris for being, as always, such a great companion. We love having you over.
The picture above is of our little tree, and some of the aftermath of present opening Christmas morning. We weren’t going to have a tree at all, since we’d had one in St. Louis already and sort of felt like Christmas had already passed, but Khris talked us into it, and we’re glad. We pulled out the little tree we usually put up in our spare room for Mary when she’s here for Christmas, and used it in our living room, complete with snowman skirt. It was cute, and worked great as a last minute fill in. We’re glad we did it.
A very merry Christmas, a bit belatedly now, to you and yours from us here at what our friends like to call… the spa.
